Japanese used tires do not go to one market. We ship to buyers across five regions, and what sells well differs sharply between them — which is worth knowing before you decide what to put in your first container.

Those are the regions we actively supply. If your market is not on the list, ask — the constraint is usually your own import rules rather than our ability to ship there.
Check your import rules first
Used tire import is regulated differently in every country, and the rules change. Before you order, confirm on your side:
- Whether used tires may be imported at all
- Any minimum remaining tread depth your customs applies
- Any age limit measured from the DOT date code
- Whether a pre-shipment inspection certificate is required
- Duty and any environmental or disposal levy
We can only load to a specification if you tell us what it is. Sending us your national requirement at the enquiry stage is far cheaper than discovering it at your port.
What different markets tend to buy
Passenger car tires (PCR)
The highest-volume product and the easiest to sell through, with around 3,500 pieces in a 40ft container. See used passenger car tires.
Light truck tires (LTR)
16, 17.5 and 19.5 inch stock for vans and light commercial fleets. Often loaded alongside PCR. See used light truck tires.
Truck and bus tires (TBR)
22.5 inch stock. Low piece count per container — about 288 pieces of 11R22.5 in a 40ft — but high value per piece. See used truck & bus tires.
Casings
Carcasses for retreading, bought by retread plants rather than by tire shops. See used tire casings.
How buyers usually start
A 20ft trial container, then a monthly 40ft once the first load has sold through. We are a wholesaler and we ship monthly, so a regular programme is the normal arrangement rather than a special one. Everything is quoted CIF to your port with insurance included.
