Used 11R22.5 truck tires from Japan

USED TIRE JAPAN exports used 11R22.5 truck and bus tires from Japan by the container — running tires and casings both — to importers, wholesalers and retread factories worldwide.

11R22.5 is one of our main TBR sizes, in regular supply, alongside 275/70R22.5, 275/80R22.5 and 295/80R22.5. Japanese commercial vehicles run under strict axle-load and speed regulation, on well-paved roads, with fleet operators who replace tires on a fixed schedule rather than running them to the limit — the source condition behind the stock we export.

What we supply

11R22.5 is sold three ways — used tires with their original tread, used tires that have already been retreaded, and, selected separately, casings for retread factories.

Used Original Tire

Running tires with their original tread, not retreaded — first-life used tires as removed from Japanese commercial vehicles, sourced from tire shops, fleet operators and dismantling yards across Japan.

Used Retread Tire

Running tires that have already been retreaded once. Tell us whether you want original-tread stock only, or whether retreaded tires are acceptable for your market, at the quotation stage.

Casing Tire

Sold separately from running stock, selected for the carcass rather than the tread. Tell us up front if you want casings — whether you accept casings already retreaded once or first-life only, any DOT/production-week age limit, and your position on repaired casings and sidewall marks.

Container loading

A 40ft container of 11R22.5 running tires alone holds 288 pieces. A 40ft container of 11R22.5 casings holds 294 pieces.

Most buyers mix sizes rather than run a single-size container. A combination we ship often:

  • 11R22.5 — 150 pieces
  • 225/80R17.5 — 180 pieces
  • 245/70R19.5 — 50 pieces

TBR loads together with LTR (light truck) tires in the same container, and LTR loads together with PCR. Not every combination works every month — confirm with us before you plan the load. A 20ft container is available for a first trial order.

Real export cases

Numbers from our published monthly Loading Reports — actual shipments, not projections. Four separate single-size 11R22.5 loads, four independent months, all landing at 288–292 pieces. The four below are a sample; every month since 2021 is in the used tire export reports.

Condition and brands

  • Bridgestone
  • Dunlop
  • Yokohama
  • Toyo Tires
  • Falken
  • Goodyear
  • Michelin
  • Continental

Our stock comes from tire shops, fleet operators and dismantling yards across Japan, so the brand mix is simply whatever is fitted on Japanese vehicles — Bridgestone, Yokohama, Toyo, Dunlop, Falken, Goodyear, Michelin and Continental — along with other brands sold in the Japanese market.

We work only with partner yards that run their own inspection before tires are packed. Tell us the minimum tread depth and the sizes you sell most, and we will confirm what our yards can actually gather before you commit to a booking. We would rather tell you a size is short this month than load something you cannot sell.

Why buy 11R22.5 from Japan

  • In regular supply. 11R22.5 is one of our main sizes, not an occasional find.
  • Real export history. Four independent monthly shipments in the last twelve months, each a single-size 288–292 piece load, plus mixed-load shipments to Africa and Southeast Asia.
  • Monthly shipments are normal. We are a wholesaler; regular buyers ship on a monthly arrangement.
  • CIF and insured. Every shipment is insured by us, quoted CIF to your port.

How to order

  1. Send an inquiry with the sizes, quantity, destination port and container size you want.
  2. Receive a CIF quotation from our team.
  3. Confirm the order.
  4. We build the container load and ship.

Full payment methods, freight terms and step-by-step detail: see How to Import Used Tires from Japan. We trade on CIF terms only.

Shipping and CIF

We ship from all major Japanese ports — Ishikari, Tomakomai, Hachinohe, Akita, Sendai, Niigata, Kashiwazaki, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe and Moji — depending on where the stock is gathered. For what CIF actually includes, see What Does CIF Include When You Buy Used Tires from Japan?

Where we ship

Our monthly Loading Reports show 11R22.5 recurring most often to Central America, with mixed-load shipments also going to Southeast Asia and Africa (see Real Export Cases above).

One specific, named shipment: an 11R22.5 truck tire container and an 11R22.5/12R22.5 casing container both shipped to Balboa, Panama — documented in our export videos below. Panama sits in Central America, consistent with the pattern in the Loading Reports, and we already have a Panama import guide with port and container detail for that market.

For country-by-country import rules, ports and general container-capacity reference, see our destination guides.

FAQ — buying used 11R22.5 tires from Japan

How many 11R22.5 used truck tires fit in a 40ft container?

About 288 pieces loaded as 11R22.5 only. Most buyers mix sizes instead — for example 150 pcs of 11R22.5 with 180 pcs of 225/80R17.5 and 50 pcs of 245/70R19.5.

How many 11R22.5 casings fit in a 40ft container?

294 pieces. Mixed loads with 17.5 and 19.5 inch casings are common.

Do you supply 11R22.5 as casings for retreading, not just running tires?

Yes. Tell us at the quotation stage that the casing is your priority, and we will select on the condition of the carcass rather than the remaining tread.

Can I order a full container of 11R22.5 only?

Yes — our Loading Reports show several single-size 11R22.5 containers of 288–292 pieces. Most buyers instead mix 11R22.5 with other sizes in the same container.

Can you provide a CIF quotation for 11R22.5?

Yes. Send us the quantity, your destination port and the container size you want, and our team will come back with a CIF offer.

Can I order less than a full container?

A 20ft container is available for a first trial order.
